Ryan Collins

Ryan Collins PhD is a SEO Strategist at GoFish Digital. Ryan specializes in technical SEO including areas such as crawling and indexing. He works on various accounts and industries ranging from event venues, legal, tech, and furniture. Ryan Collins was awarded a PhD in Media Arts and Sciences from Indiana University Bloomington in 2021. His dissertation was "Evangelism in the Tech Industry: Interviews with Evangelists." In the in the fall 2021, Ryan left academia and eventually landed in SEO and digital marketing. Ryan has previous worked in-house roles at Dr.Talks as a SEO Manager working in health and wellness. Ryan has worked in other agency/consulting roles as a SEO intern at Pillar4Media and a SEO Analyst at Terakeet helping Fortune 500 companies with their growth SEO and reputational management SEO projects. He also manages a website and LinkedIn page called After Your PhD, which helps academics explore careers outside academia.
